OS X for Intel out?
OS X for x86 already in the wild?
Engadget has posted that there are rumours around that the OS X for Intel based PC machines is out and about in warez and p2p world. However, judging by the comments it seems that people are finding it hard to find leading many to say that it is a hoax.
It would not surprise me though. Since the announcement by Apple I have wondered if Steve Jobs is planning to move much quicker on releasing OS X into the PC mainstream than some have said. It seems to me that if Apple can release it prior to longhorn they will make a killing financially and set themselves up for the future.
We were discussing this at our family lunch today and somebody remarked – never underestimate Microsoft. I think this is right and how good is that for all of us. Microsoft and Apple – Bill Gates and Steve Jobs head to head.
Anything could happen in an area that has been pretty slow in innovations considering the incredibly big leaps in hardware technology.
