Palm vs Moleskine
Rearden Metal comments on the usefulness of having both a palm and a moleskine.

“ My Moleskine is a thinking tool, something for me to be creative with. My Palm is a reference tool, something for me to store data in, as well as reminders, diary dates etc. “
“ Best of both worlds. I can create and dream however I want and enjoy the process.”
I purchased a moleskine small notepad two weeks ago and have found the same synergy between the two. I would add that I like the facility to be able to scribble down a diagram or something down in the moleskine and be able to show it to the person I am chatting to. This helps me as I am essentially a visual person who thinks outloud. This saves asking the waiter for a napkin and a pen. I guess tablet PC owners have a way to do this on the computer without the use of paper.
My only complaint about the moleskine is that it doesn’t have a pen holder. This would make it the complete package in my opinion.

I love my moleskines but I wish that they had a calendar which ran the academic year insted of just the regular year
