The Tungsten X or Tungsten XX?

Remember how a couple of months ago there was this rumor going around that palmOne’s new LifeDrive handheld was going to be called the Tungsten X? Yeah, well obviously that didn’t exactly pan out, but some pics and specs have turned up for what is supposedly the real Tunsgten X. Or Tungsten XX, we’re not exactly sure what’s going on there with the name. Anyway, we can’t guarantee that any of this is legit (even if the pics are damned convincing), but the Tungsten X/Tungsten XX is said to run on Palm OS 5.4.9 and have a 312MHz processor, a 320 x 480 pixel display, Bluetooth 1.2, built-in 802.11b (finally!), and have an SDIO expansion card slot.

Nice pics from engadget of the coming new pda from palmone in the tungsten line. Having had a tungsten t3 before I started using my treo, I can highly recommend the tungsten pda line. Very slick.
