Electronic paper that bends
The Melbourne Age has an interesting article on electronic paper that is being developed.
Electronics maker Fujitsu said the electronic paper was the first that could preserve
images in vivid colour and without distortion when they were folded or bent.
It said the paper had an image memory function that meant it had no need for electricity other than a minimal amount when changing the picture.
“Electronic paper offers all the same characteristics of paper such as being thin, flexible and lightweight,” Fujitsu said in a statement.
