Microsoft last week released the version 5 of msn messenger for the mac betanews reports
Microsoft on Tuesday released the long-awaited version 5 of Messenger for Mac OS X, which introduces a tabbed client window for connecting to both a corporate and personal IM account. The interface of Messenger 5 has also been polished to better conform to Apple’s “brushed metal” theme.

Why would anyone want to use MSN Messenger on OS X when the built in iChat has a handy hack (http://www.jabber.org.au/ichat ) allowing you to use any messaging service you like? Or when fantastic software like Adium (http://www.adiumx.com/) exists that really craps all over anything I’ve ever seen come from Microsoft? :-p
