Zimbra
How cool is this? An outlook look a like that runs not on your own pc but on a web server. Early stages but looking good.

‘Well, not exactly Microsoft Outlook but a clone made the the Zimbra community. It’s a virual replica of Outlook, but with one big difference - It’s Online. The Zimbra collaboration suite does not run directly on your system, but through a webserver. Created with AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) , it’s a fun application (altough some can put it to very effective use), still in the early stages of it’s development that supports almost all of Outlook’s features, so try it out as soon as you can.’

As a proof of concept, Zimbra looks really promising. It needs a task module (at minimum) before it can legitimately be called an Outlook competitior though. It looks, from the Flash demo, like a great start and, since it’s open source, I’m hoping some GTD-minded developer tackles tasks in a way that levergaes Zimbra’s ability to associate items that are related together and full text search.
