new ipod?
Apple has announced a press conference on 12 October:
Apple’s teasingly named “One More Thing” event will be held Stateside in San Jose on 12 October 2005, with a simultaneous invite-only conference being held in London.
So it appears that the announcement of the nano is not the end of the ballgame for Apple this year, with rumours abounding that a 5th generation ipod is set to be introduced. The above linked article suggests that we may be looking at a Powerbook style titanium finish, as suggested earlier this year by Think Secret. Video playback capability is one possibility but Think Secret thinks it is unlikely.
