Comments and blogging

This is one exciting piece of software! I just love it when someone writes a software app that seems to solve a problem that I (and many others!) have been experiencing.

Scoblizer linked up this one from his jaunt in a Swiss chalet.

“The advent of weblogs, and the ability for bloggers and blog-readers to communicate via comments, has turned the internet into a massive platform for conversation. That’s the good part. The bad part has been that this massive platform provides little structure to allow people to follow these conversations - until now. With coComment, bloggers, blog readers - basically anyone interested in the conversation being created by blog-based comments - will be able to keep track of these comments and conversations in a simple, efficient way.

How does it work?

When you become a member of coComment, you’ll install a simple bookmarklet on your browser. Whenever you make comments on another blog, you’ll do so using this bookmarklet.”

Unfortunately, it is in beta phase and you need an invitation code to participate at the moment. But if it delievers on what it is suggesting this could be a killer app for blog readers.
